This Return Policy outlines the cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms for mindfulness coaching products purchased from Spinalfaunaiu through spinalfaunaiu.world or directly at our Wellington studio located at 121 Tauhinu Road, Wellington 6022, New Zealand. We are committed to fair and transparent policies that respect both our clients and our coaching team.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all mindfulness coaching products offered by Spinalfaunaiu, including the Single Awareness Session priced at NZD $145, the Six-Week Clarity Programme priced at NZD $720, and the Group Harmony Workshop priced at NZD $95 per participant. It also covers gift vouchers, package upgrades, and any promotional bundles advertised on our Session Offerings page.
Because mindfulness coaching products involve scheduled personal services rather than physical goods, traditional return policies do not directly apply. Instead, this document governs cancellation, refund eligibility, and rescheduling procedures specific to our coaching services.
2. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 of New Zealand. Our mindfulness coaching services are guaranteed to be carried out with reasonable care and skill, fit for their stated purpose, and delivered within a reasonable timeframe. If our services fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy including refund, resupply, or compensation as provided by law.
3. Single Awareness Session
For individual Single Awareness Sessions purchased from Spinalfaunaiu:
- Cancellation with forty-eight hours or more notice before the scheduled session time: full refund to your original payment method within five to ten business days.
- Cancellation with less than forty-eight hours notice: no refund, but you may reschedule once to a new date within thirty days of the original booking, subject to availability.
- No-show without prior notice: the session fee is forfeited with no refund or rescheduling option.
- If Spinalfaunaiu cancels your session due to coach unavailability or studio closure: full refund or complimentary rescheduling at your choice.
4. Six-Week Clarity Programme
For the Six-Week Clarity Programme purchased from Spinalfaunaiu:
- Cancellation before the first session begins: full refund minus a NZD $25 administrative fee to cover booking and resource preparation costs.
- Cancellation after the first session but before the third session: partial refund calculated as the programme fee minus the cost of completed sessions at the Single Awareness Session rate of NZD $145 each, minus a NZD $25 administrative fee.
- Cancellation after the third session: no refund, as substantial coaching delivery and digital resource access have been provided.
- Missed individual sessions within the programme may be rescheduled once per session with twenty-four hours notice, subject to coach availability within the six-week timeframe.
- Programme extensions beyond six weeks due to client scheduling are available at no additional charge for up to four additional weeks.
5. Group Harmony Workshop
For Group Harmony Workshop bookings through Spinalfaunaiu:
- Individual participant cancellation with seven or more days notice: full refund to the original payment method.
- Individual participant cancellation with less than seven days notice: no refund, but the participant may transfer their place to another person at no additional charge by notifying us at least twenty-four hours before the workshop.
- Group booking cancellation by the organiser with fourteen or more days notice: full refund minus a NZD $40 administrative fee.
- Group booking cancellation with less than fourteen days notice: fifty percent refund to account for reserved studio space and preparation.
- If Spinalfaunaiu cancels a workshop due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances: full refund to all registered participants or transfer to the next available workshop date.
6. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers for mindfulness coaching products purchased from Spinalfaunaiu are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. The recipient may use the voucher toward any session offering of equal or lesser value, or pay the difference for a higher-priced product. Unused voucher balances after twelve months expire without refund.
7. Digital Resources
Digital practice guides, meditation recordings, and resource library access included with certain mindfulness coaching products from Spinalfaunaiu are delivered electronically upon booking confirmation or after the first session. Due to the nature of digital content, refunds for products where digital resources have been accessed or downloaded are subject to the partial refund calculations described in the relevant product section above.
8. Online Sessions
For online mindfulness coaching sessions conducted via video conferencing:
- Clients are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and suitable private environment for their session.
- Technical difficulties on the client side that prevent session attendance are treated as a no-show unless the client contacts Spinalfaunaiu within thirty minutes of the scheduled start time to reschedule.
- Technical difficulties on our side that prevent session delivery: full rescheduling at no charge or full refund at the client's discretion.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund for any mindfulness coaching product purchased from Spinalfaunaiu, contact us through the form at spinalfaunaiu.world, by phone at +64224143487, or in person at our Wellington studio. Please provide your full name, booking reference or payment confirmation, the product purchased, and the reason for your request.
Refund requests are processed within five business days of approval. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within five to ten business days, depending on your financial institution. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.
10. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible through our contact page or by phone. Spinalfaunaiu will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred alternative date and time. Rescheduled sessions must be completed within the timeframes specified for each product type. Repeated rescheduling requests may be subject to additional administrative fees at our discretion.
11. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision or believe your consumer rights have not been met, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter directly. Spinalfaunaiu is committed to finding fair solutions for all parties. If we cannot resolve the dispute, you may contact the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand for claims within its jurisdiction or seek advice from Consumer Protection New Zealand.
12. Changes to This Policy
Spinalfaunaiu may update this Return Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on spinalfaunaiu.world with an updated date. Policy changes do not affect bookings confirmed before the change date, which remain subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
